October 14 – December 2
Thursdays, 4:00 – 6:00 PM
Ages: youth class (10–14 years)

Everyone has a superpower. Before you can use it, you have to understand it. Discover your own superpower and bring it to life through sculpture. As you create your character, you begin to understand and take command of the qualities that make you unique. Instructor Chas Martin demonstrates basic techniques and materials. You will create dynamic gestures that communicate the qualities of your character. Each technique builds on the previous, preparing you to create larger, more complex sculptures.

This class includes plenty of demos and live problem-solving opportunities. All materials are included in tuition. Bring a sketchbook, apron, disposable gloves and your imagination. No previous experience necessary. Tuition includes a year-long OSA Youth Membership. Scholarships are available; contact for more information or to request a scholarship application. COVID-19 safety protocols will be strictly enforced; vaccination is required for kids 12 and older to attend this class.
